About ClipArtIllustration.com

ClipArt Illustration supplies quality illustrations (otherwise called clip art) to the masses!

There is no shortage of stock illustrations on the internet. Graphics is one of the most competative internet industries. This site is unique in that:

ClipArtIllustration.com

  • It is run and supplied by only two artists
  • We have a custom interface so that every client can talk to the artists directly for custom work.
  • We aim to supply not only businesses and webmasters, but also bloggers, everyday internet users, and students.
  • The End User License Agreement is more generous for use allowances than the average mainstream stock site.

We appreciate your interest in our work and hope to accomodate your graphics needs. Welcome to ClipArtIllustration.com

A note from Leo

For a long time now I’ve been doing custom art which I supply as stock illustration. This has been a winning strategy for today’s situation. If you are a graphic designer, you may have seen my work before. In the last year I’ve simplified my operation to simply supplying my own sites and clipartof.com.

By bringing my work here and simplifying my operation, I am able to give more attention to the more important things, which to me has nothing to do with illustration! This site, for me, is the final culmination of my years in illustrating and art. It is designed for you (the customer) and me! I look forward to helping you with any of your custom work needs.

I will be continuously working on this site and its content as people like you continue to make your customer needs known. I look forward to working with you.

Working together is the true art form

    Hi there.
Once you buy an illustration and the transaction completes, the illustrations immediately come up available in your user area for download. Its instant. Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Hi –

I love your illustrations! Does the license agreement ever allow for an illustration to be used in a logo that is trademarked? I’m thinking not, but I just want to confirm. Thanks!

Theres lots of uses allowed, more than average stock photo sites. Logo and trademark use though cannot be done due to extremely complicated copyright laws that I cannot comprehend nor the people that created them! :D Let me know if you have more questions!

Our company is looking for a safety mascot. Could you draw orange man wearing a hard hat & a tool belt? If so, could we then have a costume made of the drawing for company picnics & such? Thanks Tracy

That would be 2232px x 4344px for the large size. Smaller as you go down.

Oh – that would be 72 dpi. I’m overhauling the site and those things will be stipulated. Thanks.

I love LOVE LOVE your creations. I especially love your “construction” series as well as “ants”. Awesome! I wonder…do you think you will ever carry “adjective” series? Especially with wordpress, they make great inserts such as emotions and smiles, etc.

Hrm. I don’t know…wouldn’t want to make all of my Verb illustrations jealous! Maybe it would be cool to get a lot of people searching for action-words!

I love you art work and want to use you ao maru robot Green for my mascot on my website and youtube channel T-shirts and business card. But need to talk to you to if what I have to do to sell the tshirts to help pay for webshow on my youtube channel. ~ Michael

  21. Leo says:

I’m fairly certain that is fine! Legal stuff aside, as the illustrator I can certainly tell you go ahead!
As long as your not selling him “as is”, but instead as a promotional mascot accompanying your product.
    Example:

    • Good: AO Maru accompanying your product, tagline, or something related to you, your business, or what have you. This is fine for most scenerios, t-shirts included.
    • Bad: AO Maru as a stand-alone element being sold on a t-shirt as is, in effect just reselling the character not as a design element but as the product itself.

    Hope this helps you!

  22. Michael Russell says:

So he can be on. 1.Work t-shirts and give way shirts pushing the website. 2.Just not him and only him on a t-shirt for sale. 3.Is he alound to be on shirts for sale that have him pushing the website. If you could comment yes or no. To 1,2,3 that would be helpfull and how do I make it where others do not copy your work when I use him online?

I want to use some of your red robot for a PP presentation for school – how do I know which size to purchase of each one I want to purchase?

    comment

  24. admin says:

Small should work just great. You may even get away with “bloggee” size, but if your printing definitely go for “small” on a school size project.

Is there a way to make the backgrounds transparent vs white of the licensed versions, for use within other diagrams? Thanks.

  26. Leo Blanchette says:

The best way is to have the artist do it! I’ll quickly process your latest purchase for you and send them to you.
The other way is simply to isolate them in photoshop, or a common program like Adobe Elements (which I’m sure makes isolation easy).

I’ve just isolated your files and sent you an email with the download link.
